What is my dream house in the countryside like? Away from the hustle and bustle, away from people and close to nature. A small red house in the Swedish countryside in the middle of a pine forest, where a long access road takes you. The air is deliciously fresh and the house overlooks a small magical lake. It snows a lot in winter, it is pleasantly warm in summer and the landscape is always beautiful. In the morning, I would drink my coffee by the window in the flickering candlelight and smile because deer and rabbits are peacefully roaming in the garden. The kitchen will be magical with all the vegetables, fruits and herbs stored for the winter. It would be a pleasure to cook a delicious dinner and bake cookies for the family every day. In the living room, the fire will crackle in the fireplace, a delicious aroma will spread and nature will be present inside as well as outside. I would make everything out of wood as much as possible. The bedrooms will be upstairs, with huge fluffy blankets on the beds that will rock you to sleep with a warm embrace. Every shelf will be filled with books, and we will sit in comfortable armchairs and read fairy tales that will transport us to a world where everything is possible.
At the front door, the snowy boots are melting, the gloves are hanging in front of the fireplace to dry, and the stove in the kitchen keeps the tea nice and warm. The house is filled with children's laughter.
